Traveling interstate? Then check out flights at Qantas.

There are also a range of car hire facilities in Alice Springs, or utilise the festival's Facebook event page to coordinate a ride by carpooling. Alternatively, we will be organising shuttle buses for people that book a seat. Please email info@wideopenspace.net.au to book your seat and pre-pay (we will send instructions).

CAMPING is included in the ticket price.

Different areas are marked out for overnight and weekend camping. Note: the quiet spots are right at the back or camping outside the festival area in the river. This may be handy if you have kids or need to get a good kip at night!

Sensitive types might consider camping at the Ross River Resort or hiring a cabin.

Please visit The Ross River Resort website to find out more information about the resort's rates and facilities - it’s only a short walk to the festival site.

SHOWERS/TOILETS There are shower and toilet block facilities on site.

FIRES Individual fires are not permitted but there will be designated communal fire areas around the festival site.

PARKING Parking is at your campsite. Day trippers must park outside the site. Please listen to the crew direct you.

NO BYO ALCOHOL Because the venue has a licensed bar we can’t allow any BYO alcohol. The bar can only serve individuals who have ID to prove they are 18yrs or over.

BAR You must be 18+ to enter the Bar (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian) Your ID will be checked!

RECYCLE The intention is to reduce rubbish and encourage you to keep and reuse your cup. Let's work together to reduce trash and minimise our eco footprint.

PEER SECURITY For licensing purposes, we will have a number of registered security guards at the site, but rather than relying on an external security force for the wider festival space, Wide Open Space will employ peer security. We ask that everyone contribute by looking out for each other and helping as required. Also, the ‘fun insurance’ crew of trained and responsible locals will be around to help at the same time as enjoying the festival. Please keep all vehicles and valuables secure at all times.

FIRST AID There is a First Aid tent onsite, if you or your friend need some help please come and see us.

SAFETY Remember you will be IN THE DESERT! Do not go wandering off alone. Always tell someone where you are going and take water, appropriate footwear, hat etc. The area around Ross River and N'DHALA GORGE is a very significant cultural place for Eastern Arrernte people. Do not go walking into areas that are not signed or clearly marked. Also if you plan to DRINK, then plan to CAMP.

MONEY There are NO ATM machines or EFTPOS onsite. CASH only.

KIDS SPACE This is a family friendly event with a special 'Kids Area' - where you and your little ones can be entertained with a range of activities and workshops.

MARKET PLACE There will be a colourful and bustling market place; stocking hand crafts and clothing from local and interstate designers as well as tasty treats to fill your belly and information on local environmental issues and campaigns.

Thank You. We hope you have a Fun, Safe and Stimulating festival.

From the WIDE OPEN SPACE CREW.
